1. OVERVIEW

This website is operated by MEHER JEWELLERY. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MEHER JEWELLERY. MEHER JEWELLERY offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. ORDERS

Orders may be placed on our website, or via phone; +971 56 774 9477. Orders can also be placed by email at meher@meherjewellery.com. Personalised orders will be confirmed by a sales representative. Please note that once an order has been confirmed, we are not able to modify or cancel your order. MEHER JEWELLERY reserves the right to refuse sales or cancel orders placed by a customer in violation of the site’s terms or as otherwise determined by MEHER JEWELLERY. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

All fine jewellery orders are custom made to order in the UAE. Orders will only go into production once full payment has been made in advance by the customer. Fine jewellery orders take approximately 3 weeks to  produce and ship. Should you need your order before that time frame, it may be possible to expedite your order for an additional fee. You may request an expedited service in the comments section of the order. If this is possible, a sales representative will provide you with the additional cost and you will be charged accordingly.

Please note that the images of the letters, numbers, and pieces are for visual reference only. The actual product may vary slightly in shape, size, and colour from what is pictured. The quantity of stones and weight of material may vary also.

We aim to present the most recent, most accurate and most reliable information on the website at all times. However, the information may contain some errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We, therefore, reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies or errors and to change and update information at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.

In the event a catalogue product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or systems error, MEHER JEWELLERY shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. MEHER JEWELLERY shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.

Any promotions offered by MEHER JEWELLERY will state the time frame in which they can be used, along with any other limitations or excluded products. MEHER JEWELLERY reserves the right to alter or cancel any promotion without notice. If a promotion is used incorrectly or abused, MEHER JEWELLERY has the right to cancel the orders and ban the usage of any further promotional material by such user. Only one discount or coupon may be used per order.  

3. SHIPPING

Shipping within the UAE is free of charge. We ship internationally for an additional fee. MEHER JEWELLERY is not responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes or other fees assessed to international shipments and MEHER JEWELLERY is not responsible for any delays or other issues that may arise when shipping internationally. MEHER JEWELLERY is not responsible for delayed delivery, or any other issues once your order leaves MEHER JEWELLERY. If your order is sent back to MEHER JEWELLERY by the shipping company for failure to deliver, you will be required to pay for the re-shipment of your order.

4. PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept online payments, Bank Transfers, and cash payments in AED or USD only. Full payment is due before any order is processed and produced.

5. CUSTOMIZATIONS

All items are custom-made and no two pieces will be identical. Please note that images on our website are basic guidelines, the end product will look slightly different depending on finish, stones and lettering used. The number of letters that fit on each piece will vary depending on the piece’s size. MEHER JEWELLERY reserves the right to reject requests for lettering should we feel that the letters will not fit on the piece or if it compromises the aesthetic quality of the piece. MEHER JEWELLERY will try to accommodate your order to your liking. As these products are hand stamped, please note that there may be slight imperfections in the stamping.

6. RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY FINE JEWELLERY:

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. If there is a fault with the product purchased, you must notify MEHER JEWELLERY within 30 days of purchase, and a repair can be organised.

7. REPAIRS & MAINTENANCE

Should you wish to make any alterations to your MEHER JEWELLERY fine jewellery, or require a repair, please contact us on +971 56 774 9477. Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of the alterations as well as the shipment, unless it is within 30 days of purchase and it has been determined that there is an issue with the product.

MEHER JEWELLERY is not responsible for how you wear your jewellery. Scratches and knocks are part of normal signs of everyday wear. MEHER JEWELLERY  is designed to last for many years to come but all precious jewellery will naturally tarnish and look dull if proper care has not been taken. Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimise these effects. Clean your jewellery with a soft cloth. It is recommended to remove jewellery when showering or bathing. This is particularly important when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water. Never expose jewellery to household cleaning products, especially bleach and highly reactive solutions. Avoid spraying perfume, hairspray on the gemstones or pearls as it jeopardises the integrity of the material. Remove jewellery when applying make-up and creams to avoid the residue getting into the texture or gemstone setting.

8. SITE IMAGERY

MEHER JEWELLERY provides images of each item on the Site and endeavours to show as much detail as possible. However, viewing images online has its disadvantages as the size and colour of the images may vary across digital screens and mobile devices. Measurements of select pieces are provided to help visual size. Weight and sizes have been mentioned as an approximate, please know that no two pieces will be the same weight or size. There will be a difference of a few grams, stone size and piece size.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE/TERMINATION

MEHER JEWELLERY reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof). You agree that MEHER JEWELLERY shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. You acknowledge that MEHER JEWELLERY reserves the right to deactivate accounts, cancel orders, and/or refuse to accept orders from users that violate the Terms or for such other reason as determined by MEHER JEWELLERY.

10. FEEDBACK

If, at our request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments. We may, but have no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property or these Terms of Service. You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right. You further agree that your comments will not contain libellous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the Service or any related website. You may not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third-parties as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third-party.

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Service or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date applied in the Service or on any related website, should be taken to indicate that all information in the Service or on any related website has been modified or updated.
